This policy explains what Layered Moose LLC collects, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what's needed to design, print, and ship your orders — and nothing gets sold to anyone, ever.
Order and contact info: name, email, shipping address, and
(optionally) phone number, collected at checkout.
Designs and files: 3D files you upload, photos you attach,
and your Design Studio conversations — stored so we can produce your order and
so you can reload and edit your designs later.
Account info: your email, via login codes or Google/Apple
sign-in. We never see or store passwords; Google and Apple only confirm your
email to us.
Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive your
card number.
Photos of your prints: we photograph finished orders for
quality control. They appear in our public gallery only if you opted in at
checkout (first name only) — uncheck the box to stay out.
To produce, ship, and support your orders; to send order-status emails and (with your consent) text messages; to send login codes; to operate your account and design library; and to improve the service. AI design conversations are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your designs.
If you give us your phone number, we text order updates and login codes you request. We do not send marketing texts. Reply STOP to opt out; message and data rates may apply. Phone numbers are never shared or sold, and are used only as described here.
Only the services that make the shop run: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Shippo/USPS (shipping labels), Anthropic (AI design generation), and, for some orders, the approved print provider who produces your item — who receives only what's needed to print and ship it, is contractually barred from keeping or reusing your files or address, and must delete them after delivery. We never sell or rent personal information.
No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies. We use only local browser storage to keep you signed in and to save in-progress designs on your device, plus whatever Stripe requires to process payment securely.
Order records are kept as long as required for business and tax purposes. Designs and files are kept so you can reorder them. You can ask us to delete your account, designs, or personal information — email us and we'll do it, keeping only what the law requires (like tax records). We honor deletion and access requests regardless of what state you live in.
The service is for adults; we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
